About the Project
The ESGROWTH project
Integration of ESG Strategies for Business Competitiveness and Sustainability in the Cross-Border Area of Castilla y León (Spain) and Northern Portugal – aims to support SMEs in adopting Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria.
SMEs represent 99% of the business fabric and 64% of employment in the region. However, they face key barriers such as limited resources, lack of training and restricted access to financing, which hinder ESG adoption.

Rationale
“Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Excepteur sint occaecat cupidatat non proident, sunt in culpa qui officia deserunt mollit anim id est laborum.”
Limited Resources
SMEs often lack financial and human resources to implement ESG strategies.
Lack of training
Insufficient knowledge and skills prevent effective ESG integration.
Access to Finance
Difficulties in accessing funding slow down sustainable transformation.
